It was the early mornings that Chilled enjoyed the most. There was a sense of completion, wholeness… something amazing, right before he go out of bed. It told him that he had everything he could ever want; it reassured him. The moments, so peaceful and quiet, with newly born sunshine illuminating the room, were never wasted. They were too small for that, and instead cherished.

           On this bright, early morning, before the cloudy skies or passage of time could come and take them away, Chilled felt ready. Determined, even. It gave him what he needed to get ready for the day.

           Smiling, he placed something on the bedside counter, and left Ze behind in the bed.


An hour later, Ze awoke to the sound of birds chirping. Quiet-morning had passed, and given way to a semi-chaotic-morning. He told a deep breath through his nose, seeing as Chilled had opened a window somewhere, and lots of fresh air was getting in. It felt good.

           Ze sat up and stretched. Looking to his side, he noticed a post-it note on the desk, with what seemed to be Chilled’s handwriting on it. He picked it up, reading the love-filled yet teasing words written upon it.


Marry me, asshole.

           A bright grin found it’s way to Ze’s face.

           Under the note had been a ring.


Chilled had his head leaned in one hand. The thumbnail was the most important part of the video, at least, according to him. Gave people the vibe of what they were getting into. That, and the title. It was necessary that they were perfect.

           He wasn’t expecting the kiss on the back of his head.

           “Yes,” Ze beamed, wrapping his arms around Chilled.
